- Runs in a zig-zag pattern when being chased by predators. Will flash the white underside of their tail to warn other rabbits in the area. 
- Not technically a rabbit but a hare because its young are born with fur and with their eyes open 
- Can swim by dog-paddling 
- Gets most of the water it needs from the plants it eats
