This 8-mile trek into the Jacumba Wilderness includes rough trails and possibly bouldering. First stop is Smuggler's Cave and a near-by viewpoint with stunning views of the Jacumba Wilderness and beyond! Next, we'll continue to Valley of the Moon with possible stops at Elliot Mine & Blue Angel's Peak.

Meets at Valley of the Moon Trail Kiosk- Parking on Old Hwy 80 at 8:00AM. Take 1-8 to In-Ko-Pah/Exit 77. Go to Old Hwy 80 on the east side of I-8. Turn right onto Old Hwy 80 ang go about 0.2 mi. (GPS N32.63988,W116.10713)
