OPEN CALL FOR INDIGENOUS CALIFORNIA ARTISTS
Imperial Valley Desert Museum has been awarded a Far South/Border North grant IVDM is hosting an open call for indigenous mural, exterior sculpture artists, musicians, and outdoor medium artists to submit designs they'd like to create and display permanently at IVDM. IVDM is looking for 3-4 artists to create installations that examine key concepts related to social justice issues faced by indigenous communities including land rights, cultural preservation, environmental stewardship, and decolonization efforts.
